Energy bills are set to soar in October as the cost of living crisis continues to raise bill prices.
With the price cap predicted to increase a further 40% to £2,800, homeowners and tenants in the UK are being urged to check their boilers for costly faults.A boiler should be serviced every 12 months and while for homeowners it is their responsibility, for tenants, the landlord is fully responsible by UK law.
However, it’s the responsibility of the tenant to inform the landlord of any faults or potential issues with the boiler.There is no hot water, or the water is not sufficiently heatedThe boiler makes an unusual noise.
