It could see household mixing banned, with Brits only allowed to meet people from outside their home or support bubble outdoors in freezing temperatures. The potential halt on indoor gatherings would mean people have just two days to see all their loved ones on Christmas Day and Boxing Day - which could make for tough choices for those with big extended families or relatives across the country.
