Abdelmasih Hanoun, 31, faces attempted murder charges
The British toddler is fighting for her life after allegedly being stabbed by a knifeman at a playpark in France while she was on holiday.
The cousins were still in hospital in Grenoble, near the French Alps, and were said to be in a critical condition, reports the Mirror. Ettie is in the same hospital in a stable condition while Peter was also stable, in a specialist medical unit in Geneva. Top news stories today Hanoun himself was also treated after being shot by police, but was not injured badly enough that he could not be interviewed by officers. Hanoun described himself as a ‘Syrian-Christian’, who was filmed saying ‘In the name of Jesus Christ’ throughout the incident, it has been reported.
