A student who found "a more positive way of living" through running has signed-off his time at university with an ultra-marathon.
The University of Bristol student rarely exercised before he moved to the UK to study computer science. He decided to take on the challenge after running a total of 2,000 miles along the Bristol Portway during his three-year degree. As the best Romanian speaker in his family, he often took on adult responsibilities - something that caused him "to grow up fast".As a result, he was rejected from every university he applied for and decided to spend six months hitchhiking from Amsterdam to Armenia.
