BREAKING: The DUP will vote against the government's Brexit plans in a vote in parliament on Wednesday.
Sir Jeffrey Donaldson said he would continue to work with the government to address "outstanding issues"
The 'Stormont brake' aims to give the Northern Ireland assembly a greater say on how EU laws apply to NI. The checks were required under the original Brexit deal in order to maintain an open land border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, which is in the EU. Sinn Féin, Alliance and the SDLP have said improvements to the protocol are needed to ease its implementation. The DUP has set up an eight-member panel to assess the Windsor Framework and come to a "collective decision" on whether to support it.
