Brendan Rodgers tight-lipped on Celtic centre-back targets as Hoops boss wishes Carl Starfelt 'best of luck'
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers remained typically tight-lipped over any potential incomings at Parkhead - as he bid Carl Starfelt farewell with a move to Celta Vigo imminent.
The sextuplet have moved for a combined fee of around £12million, though the deals that will take Starfelt and Jota - who has moved to Saudi club Al-Ittihad - away from Celtic Park will reach the £30m mark. That’s given Rodgers a huge budget to spend, though fans are equally cautious that incomings haven’t quite hit their satisfaction as of yet.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Rodgers said: nothing really to tell. There's been various reports on various players. However, Rodgers was less ominous when speaking about Carl Starfelt, as he admitted that his move was ‘no great secret’.
