Matt O'Riley was the hero after a pulsating end to the Premiership clash at Fir Park.
He avoided a pulled and that wasn't all Brendan Rodgers was delighted about after watching his Celtic side clinch a dramatic 2-1 win over Motherwell.
Amid the madness, Rodgers himself was on the park to celebrate as fans spilled on to drink in the euphoria. And when asked if the late emotion got to him as well, the Irishman delivered a killer quip: "Oh aye, oh aye. I was just waiting for someone to take me off! No, it's a massive moment and that is football. That's the emotion. I pulled my calf last time I did that so it was ok today.
He said: "In all honesty I didn't see that. I saw people on the pitch and of course that is not what we want. You understand a bit with the lateness of the goals and what that brings to it. You have to think of the context of it all as well. But I didn't see anything else. I was here a few years back when we won the game late on with Tom Rogic and I thought that was as close as we'd get to winning a game late on.
"I thought we dominated the game but credit to Motherwell, they were very compact. You are not going to have it all your own way so you have to be patient and work the ball and speed. Probably only thing was lacking a wee bit of quality when we got in and around the box.
