The end of your work week is going to feel very nice with temperatures in the upper 70s and breezy conditions but mostly sunny and dry.

Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says winds will increase through the weekend with warmer temperatures in the low to mid 80s both Saturday and Sunday.Tropical depression “Lisa” will emerge over the SW Gulf of Mexico today. It will then move back south over the weekend. No local impacts. A broad area of low pressure is expected to develop in the Southwestern Atlantic over the next few days.
Next week is when we feel impacts from an area of low pressure near the Bahamas that will eventually move northwestward. Buresh says this system will lead to multiple days of onshore flow, sustained winds of 30+ mph, and breakers that could reach double digits at times.
