A murder investigation is underway after a man died in Levenshulme.
Police were called to a fight in Rushmere Avenue late on Sunday night. A man was pronounced dead at the scene and another man has been arrested for murder.remain cordoned off with crime scene tape this morning. The cordon is in place around multiple terraced properties on Rushmere Avenue. Pictures show tape in place around the front of the houses.
"At around 8.50pm on Sunday 9 July 2023, officers were called to reports of a fight between two men on Rushmere Avenue, Levenshulme," a GMP spokesman said."The victim – a 36-year-old man – was found with serious injuries and sadly pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.Join our WhatsApp Top Stories and Breaking News group by
