A breakdown of AlejandroSanz's LatinGRAMMY nominations
, who for the past three decades has been crooning the music world with his flamenco-influenced ballads, poetic lyrics, and soothing voice. Sanz, who recently made his comeback to the scene after a four-year hiatus, is the top artist nominee for the 20th annual Latin Grammy Awards.
The Spanish singer is up for eight awards, including album of the year, record of the year, and song of the year. Julio Reyes Copello, who worked on Sanz’s album, is also up for producer of the year. The 2019 Latin Grammys will air live Nov. 14 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas via Univision. congratulates Sanz, who was honored as 2017 Latin Recording Academy’s Person of the Year, by breaking down his nominations below.
Released on March 2018, “Mi Persona Favorita,” which translates to “My Favorite Person,” is a feel-good Latin pop song that highlights all of the beautiful qualities a person has.
