The Atlanta Braves designated Charlie Culberson for assignment on Sunday just before his father was set to throw out the first pitch for Father's Day.

Before the 2013 season, he was traded to the Colorado Rockies for Marco Scutaro, and he played two seasons with the team. He would play for theHe played three seasons with the Braves from 2018 to 2020. He batted .265 with 17 home runs and 63 runs scored in that span. He joined the Texas Rangers before the start of the 2021 season and played with them until the 2022 season.
