Brantley Gilbert’s performance on Thursday (June 20) at Ohio’s Riverbend Music Center has been postponed due to flooding in the area.
“Due to the unprecedented amount of rainfall over the past few days causing the rapid rise of the Ohio River, the Brantley Gilbert concert scheduled for Thursday, June 20 has been postponed,” the venue’sstates. “The rescheduled date will be announced in the coming days. Patrons should hold on to their tickets as they will be valid for the new date.”
Gilbert shared his disappointment for having to postpone the show, but stressed his hope that fans will stay safe in the Ohio area. “I hate seeing the flooding that is goin on in the area and want to be sure y’all are stayin safe out there,” he wrote onThe singer has been hard at work on his fifth studio album and has shared several new songs with fans. He recently released “The Man That Hung the Moon” in time for Father’s Day.
