The new iPhone 15 is set to be unveiled at Apple Event 2023 taking place today
Apple is set to unveil the new incarnation of its latest iPhone at a special event in Apple Park, California, later today . the event marks the beginning of the new cycle of technology, with two new models to be released for Apple users.
The phones will then go on wider sale with networks on Friday, September 22. According to iNews, the starting price for the iPhone 15 Pro is expected to increase by $100 to $1,099 . According to Bloomberg, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are expected to have new ultrawide and zoom lenses. Users can also expect a boost in battery juice, with the iPhone 15 range to also come with an upgraded microchip, the A17 bionic. The iPhone 15 is expected to have a 15 per cent boost to its battery capacity too.
One of the biggest changes for UK users is the potential axing of the iPhone lightning charger cable. This comes after European Union regulations forced Apple to change its lightning charger cable system.
