A 17-year-old boy has been killed in a suspected ‘targeted attack’ by the River Cam in Cambridge.
Police were called by ambulance crews to reports of stabbing at Logan’s Meadow nature reserve in the suburb of Chesterton at 2.52pm yesterday.A post-mortem examination is yet to take place, but police believe the attack was targeted.
Detectives from Cambridgeshire Police swooped on a house in the city at 11.30pm last night and arrested a 14-year-old boy on suspicion of murder. Two other boys, aged 14 and 17, were arrested at their homes in South Cambridgeshire around midnight.Three teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 17-year-old boy in Cambridge yesterday afternoon.
