A 14-year-old boy has been charged with six felonies after allegedly robbing multiple people at gunpoint Tuesday in Chicago.
Police said they took the boy into custody in the 1500 block of South Christiana Avenue about an hour after the string of robberies took place.
The boy allegedly approached each victim while armed with a gun and took their belongings, according to police.3800 block of West Belmont Avenue to a 51-year-old man;200 block of North Maplewood Avenue to a 62-year-old man. The teen was charged with six felony counts of armed robbery and is expected to appear at a juvenile detention hearing Wednesday.All the news you need to know, every day
