Boston police reported on Monday that four babies were found dead inside a house in mid-November.
Autopsies on the two male and two female infants are being conducted by the state medical examiner's office, police announced on Monday.
"The Boston Police Department continues to review the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident," the statement read."Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at 343-4470."The bodies of the babies were found on Nov. 17, when police responded to a call to investigate a condo building at 838 East Broadway in South Boston.
The building police found the bodies in is condoized into nine units, with the one listed on the police report valued in city property records in the $520,000 range. The condo police investigated has been owned by the same woman, who is in her 60s, since the early 1980s, according to the Boston Herald.The results of the autopsies are pending, and authorities are investigating the incident, according to a statement from police.
