Some families want to avoid having to isolate over Christmas
The Prime Minister Boris Johnson says children should STAY in school until the end of term.
Children were pulled out of school before both the summer holidays earlier this year and ahead of the Christmas break last year, as parents desperately tried to keep their kids and themselves well before mixing with friends and family. While some schools break up for Christmas on Friday, December 17, others don't close until just a couple of days before Christmas Eve, which means any child who catches COVID-19 in the last few days of term will have to self isolate for the entire festive period.'No, in my view they should not. We don’t want kids to be taken out of school before the end of term.
