Boris Johnson's terrible week hasn't deterred him from his “do or die” Brexit mission
of a bill Wednesday that would postpone a no-deal Brexit and force Johnson to ask the European Union for a delay, as well as killed Johnson's call for a general election, which the P.M. believes is the “only way to get this thing [Brexit] done” on his schedule. The bad news kept coming Thursday, as Johnson's own brotherfrom the Conservative Party seemingly over Boris's failed leadership, saying he was “torn between family loyalty and the national interest.
Johnson's comment, which was said in response to a question about whether he'd ask Brussels for a delay, came during a speech at a police training center in West Yorkshire—and much like everything else the P.M. has done this week, it was not without criticism. The P.M.
The Prime Minister didn't fare much better Thursday with the British citizens who he encountered during his time in West Yorkshire.
