The government will be blocked from spending funds if it goes for a no-deal Brexit against the will of MPs under the plan revealed on Wednesday.

Anti-Brexit MPs launch new plan to stop the UK leaving the EU without a deal in October. An amendment put together by Dominic Grieve and Dame Margaret Beckett will effectively shut down large parts of government if the next prime minister forces through a no-deal Brexit against the will of MPs. The House of Commons will vote on it on Tuesday. It is set to be backed by Labour and all anti-Brexit opposition parties.
