Jeanne Damas shares her favorite spots to eat, sleep, drink, walk, and shop in Hollywood.
is a California girl at heart. “L.A. has everything Paris doesn’t,” she says. “It has large spaces, the sun, and the sea.” Damas, who was born and raised in the City of Light, has built an entire business around the fantasy of an effortless French girl–inspired wardrobe with her clothing label,. Think: micro-floral-print day dresses, too-good-to-be-true jeans, the perfect red lipstick, and basket bags.
”The space was inspired by a Parisian artist’s atelier, with unframed paintings on the walls, delicate pink-patterned wallpaper, and an antique dresser and wooden ladder. Damas really wanted to merge her inherently French aesthetic with a California-cool vibe, and the clothes in the shop certainly lend themselves to those two lifestyles. “Our spring and summer collections are known for being effortless, colorful, and feminine,” Damas notes.
