Her manner of death was homicide, officials said.Investigators had been waiting for the identification since the Houston Police Department was called Jan. 18 to the 4600 block of Wilmington following a report of a dead body, officials said. The body was a woman, police said.
The body was discovered less than a day after police were in the same part of the city searching for a missing woman.Obi was last seen Jan. 11 in the area of Charleston Park Drive. The mother of five was reported missing by her family, police said. Investigators searched an apartment complex in the 9400 block of Scott and collected forensic evidence during that search.
