The rising star is set to turn down interest from England to commit his future to the Ayrshire outfit.
Kilmarnock are set to fend off rising interest in teenage sensation Bobby Wales by handing him a new long-term deal.
The Scotland under-19 cap is set to pen a new two-year contract with the Ayrshire club. It is a major boost to Killie to get the talented 18-year-old tied up on a deal until the summer of 2025. There was strong English Premier League and Championship interest in the 18-year-old. He had gone into the final year of his existing deal but has been convinced by boss Derek McInnes that his long-term future should be at Killie.
McInnes has also stated that Wales, if he continues to impress, will get his first-team chance much quicker than if he was to take his chances south of the border. Wales has come through the Rugby Park ranks and is keen to continue his development there. Kilmarnock, though, could let Wales go out on loan before the close of the Scottish lower league market.
