A number of flats have been taped off. A smaller cordon is also in place around a shared, communal courtyard. In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Shortly after 9:30 am this morning Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a stabbing at Yew Tree Road, Denton. Emergency services attended the scene, and a woman was taken to hospital for further treatment.
