Blizzard have locked major Season 7 skins for Overwatch 2 behind a $40 paywall, and fans are not happy.
Much of Overwatch 2’s Season 7 promo material was linked to a Halloween crossover with Diablo 4, though it doesn’t look like many people are going to be wearing the Inarius and LIlith skins – especially considering they’ll set you back $39.99. Overwatch 2 Season 7 will introduce a fair few changes when the start date swings around this week. Major adjustments include new leavers penalties and a whole new battle pass bundle for Season 7.
” Anyone playing live-service games knows that the price of Battle Passes and alike will always set gamers back a bit, though most of the time the content is justified. Whether the Ultimate Battle Pass content is worth it is another discussion, but what’s really the issue here is that there’s no way to get the Diablo 4 skins in Overwatch 2 without paying a high price.
