Tony died after a fight outside a Promenade pub
Blackpool Tower will be lit up in memory of Blackpool FC supporter Tony Johnson who died after a brawl broke out between rival football fans.
Burnley said they were "shocked and saddened" by Mr Johnson's death, adding: "We share our thoughts and condolences with his family, friends and everyone at Blackpool Football Club." An online fundraiser set up to help Tony's family raised thousands of pounds in its first hour alone. A 33-year-old man from Burnley who was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of wounding has been bailed until June 1 pending further inquiries. Lancashire Constabulary said they are continuing to work with both Blackpool and Burnley football clubs to establish who else may have been involved and what exactly occurred and are appealing for information and footage of the incident.
