Francis Street in Blackpool wouldn't look out of place in the Cotswolds
When you think of Blackpool, you might think of the bright lights of the illuminations, the frivolity of the amusement arcades and the glitz and glam of the ballroom dancing.
Lined with terraced homes that are each painted a different colour, the street is a far cry from the rows of B&Bs, hotels and bars that surround it. Not only are the homes appealing with their individual bright colours, but they're also well-kept with pot plants and shrubbery outside that adds to the idea that these homes are owned by proud Blackpudlians.One of these residents is Steve, who is originally from Birmingham and moved into his house on Francis Street nine years ago.
"Then five to six years ago, we all decided to paint our homes and make it look nice. We even made the boxes at the front together."
