Blackpool Air Show Sunday hour by hour weather forecast as Red Arrows perform again
Keeping a close eye on what the weather is doing is an important part of planning a trip to an outdoor event. And the Blackpool Air Show is no different.
Heavy rain hit the seaside town on Saturday before the Red Arrows took flight but Sunday is looking brighter and drier. However, it won't be as scorching hot as the 2022 show, with the highest temperatures today reaching 18C. Met Office forecasters had originally predicted showers on both days, but the latest hour-by-hour conditions are looking positive on Sunday as thousands more people prepare to line the promenade for the second day of flypasts. The Red Arrows stunt team will launch the event at 2pm on Sunday with a stunning display of stunts along the promenade, out to sea and over the Blackpool Tower. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and wing-walkers are also part of the packed afternoon schedule.
The Typhoon aircraft is scheduled to close the event at just before 5.30pm. You can get exact flypast timings here. The displays take place in skies between North and Central Pier and over Tower Festival Headland, with thousands again expected in the resort for the free family-friendly event.Sunny intervals in the morning with more cloudy skies in the afternoon12pm - sunny intervals5pm - sunny intervals
