A funny new DoctorStrange2 commercial sees BlackWidow's David Harbour appear...for yet another Tide ad.
Black Widow star David Harbour appears in a humorous Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness commercial advertising Tide pods. The Stranger Things star made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut with the Scarlet Johansson-led film as Alexei Shostakov, better known as the Russian super-soldier Red Guardian, and the father figure of the titular heroine and her sister, Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness serves as a continuation of the storyline put forth in WandaVision, Loki season 1 and Spider-Man: No Way Home as the MCU further delves into the chaos of alternate dimensions. Benedict Cumberbatch's titular hero must put together a team of new and familiar allies, including Benedict Wong's Wong, Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff and Xochitl Gomez's America Chavez in the hopes of stopping a mysterious and powerful new adversary.
However, with Harbour now a part of the MCU thanks to Black Widow, many are sure to begin questioning whether the star could appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. With the film reportedly under Avengers: Endgame-level secrecy at Marvel Studios, it's hard to say whether there's any truth to these theories, though given filming on Stranger Things season 4 occurred at the same time as the MCU sequel, it seems unlikely the Red Guardian will return for the film.
