Missouri State Rep. Justin Hicks (R) joined 'Fox & Friends First' after he fended off questions on his ethnicity from a Democrat on the State House floor.
"Can I ask you what you identify as?," Terry asked Hicks."Ethnicity."voted along mostly party lines
The prohibitions also apply to initiatives that promote"collective guilt,""the concept that disparities are necessarily tied to oppression" and"intersectional or divisive identity activism," among other concepts. The Missouri House has passed a ban on diversity spending, though the proposal will likely die in the state Senate.
Hicks said refusing to be identified by the color of his skin goes against Democrats' efforts to divide Americans.
