THERE WAS a different type of ‘Vibranium’ in the air at the European Premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which took place in London’s West End last night.
London was transformed into the mighty kingdom of Wakanda, welcoming to the black carpet a host of stars to celebrate the upcoming release of Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, movie. Director Ryan Coogler joined stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Martin Freeman, Florence Kasumba, Winston Duke and Michaela Coel at London’s Cineworld Leicester Square. Okoye and the Dora Milaje fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.
As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia and Everett Ross and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor, ruler of a hidden undersea nation, the film also stars Dominique Thorne,“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” directed by Ryan Coogler and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore, opens in cinemas November 11.
