DC Comics has revealed the new champion who will receive Black Adam's powers following the antihero's shocking death. In a new preview for Black Adam #4 from DC Comics, a new hero is revealed, as Teth-Adam's descendent Malik will take on his powers and transform into Bolt. Bolt will make his debut in the upcoming miniseries and play a key role in the new Christopher Priest and Rafa Sandoval comic.
Black Adam has become more popular than ever, as the villain turned antihero recently took a more significant role in the comics, joining the Justice League and being the lone survivor of the recent Death of the Justice League arc. The character is also about to make his live-action debut in his self-titled Black Adam solo film, where Teth-Adam will be played by Dwayne Johnson.
The question remains, will Black Adam's death lead to the rise of a permanent new champion, or is Teth-Adam just using his decedent as a vessel to return and hold onto his powers?
