Their Super Bowl window isn’t closing just yet, but the Bills are going to have to face some tough decisions next offseason with some key players ready to hit free agency after the 2023 season. With that being the case, the Bills must look to their future in the upcoming draft and address positions that may not necessarily be pressing needs right now.
As a proven high-volume target during his time at both Pitt and USC, Addison’s ability to excel in a passing offense aligns with what the Bills are trying to do on that side of the ball. Additionally, his outstanding spatial awareness and body control allow him to make difficult catches in contested situations, making him a valuable asset in the red zone.
His background as a former wide receiver and defensive back gives him exceptional ball skills and coverage abilities on passing downs, which are great traits to have for a guy the Bills hope can replace Edmunds. Additionally, his explosive finishing ability as a tackler makes up for his otherwise lacking frame, size, and rawness at the position. When called upon, the Washington State product can also rush the passer off of the edge.
