Billionaire financier Guy Hands is refusing to give the Conservatives any more donations after the Government rejected any possibility of a free trade deal with Europe 🔴 DavidParsley50 reports
: “I will not be donating to the Conservative Party, or any other party, ahead of the next general election.”
“I wouldn’t give any money to any political party unless they were committed to renegotiate a single market solution,” he said. “I think the UK desperately needs to be part of Europe and needs to find a way to join a single economic union.” He said: “I am happy to support the party that puts the long term future health of Britain above party politics.Mr Hands, whose company Terra Firma has invested £16bn in 39 businesses since it was founded in 1994, believes the UK should seek a deal with the EU similar to those Brussels agreed with, which would allow frictionless trade as well as freedom of movement for UK and European citizens across the trading bloc, would bring significant benefits for UK trade.
