Billie Eilish's black Gucci gown proved an intriguing Oscars dress theory correct 👏
Whilst this year’s Oscars served up plenty of drama, all eyes were on the red carpet looks worn by our favourite celebs. Sequins, tulle and statement suits dominated the season, but it was pop singer Billie Eilish who stole the show in a black pleated-style gown by Gucci in her trademark oversized style.
Research conducted by the online gaming review experts has revealed that 33 per cent of Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress’ category winners throughout history dressed in black to accept their award, including 2021’s Best Actress winner Frances McDormand. Although it’s unconfirmed who designed the singer’s second look, Lucky Creek’s study also shows that Giorgio Armani ranks as the luckiest fashion house to wear on the red carpet. So take note actresses and stylists – make sure you pair this with the colour black if you’d like to increase the chances of taking home an Academy Award next year.
