Pershing Square Capital Management LP acquired a new position in Alphabet Inc. during the first quarter, new disclosures showed Monday.
Bill Ackman’s entity scooped up nearly 10.3 million shares of the Google parent company in the latest quarter, according to a 13-F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission put out after the close of Monday’s trading. The position is made up of roughly 8.1 million shares of Alphabet’s Class C stock GOOG and 2.2 million shares of its Class A stock GOOGL.Bill Ackman’s entity scooped up nearly 10.
