Thea White turned six last month but donated her cash gifts to a cat and dog home
Big-hearted Thea White opted to give her cash to a cat and dog home rather than spending it on herself. The six-year-old gave the money to Mrs Murray's Home for Stray Dogs and Cats, in Aberdeen.
As reported by our sister title, Aberdeen Live, she popped into the home yesterday to hand over the gift in in person. Her younger sister Elsie accompanied her on the trip to the home, where they recently adopted a cat, Bowie. The new pet has become a much-loved addition to their family. Thea celebrated turning in December and wanted to donate her birthday money to help the cats that are in the care of Mrs Murray's rather than using it herself.
Mrs Murray's said: "A big thank you to Thea White for coming in with this donation for our cats today, she bought this herself with money she received for her 6th birthday in December. She came in with her little sister Elsie to drop it off. "Thea and Elsie recently adopted their cat Bowie from us, and he is a much loved member of their family."READ MORE: Top news stories today
