‘REST IN POWER O’SHEA SIBLEY’. Beyoncé has paid tribute to dancer O’Shae Sibley who was killed in a homophobic attack while dancing to one of her songs.
Sibley, 28, a professional dancer and choreographer, stopped at the gas station with pals where he got out to dance to Beyoncé’s tune Renaissance, which was playing in their car.
Surveillance footage then captured the horrifying moment Sibley was accosted by a group of men who told him to ‘stop dancing’ and started using slurs. During the confrontation, one of the men stabbed Sibley, who was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead soon after. Following the devastating attack, Beyoncé herself has honoured the late dancer with a tribute on her website.More to come.
