The singer doesn't talk about being a mom often, but in an interview on GMA, she said:She told British Vogue: "Something cracked open inside of me right after giving birth to my first daughter. From that point on, I truly understood my power, and motherhood has been my biggest inspiration."It became my mission to make sure she [Blue Ivy] lived in a world where she feels truly seen and valued.

The busy mom of three doesn't deny that parenthood is a juggling act though: "I think the most stressful thing for me is balancing work and life," she toldin 2019. "Making sure I am present for my kids – dropping Blue off at school, taking Rumi and Sir to their activities, making time for date nights with my husband, and being home in time to have dinner with my family – all while running a company – can be challenging.
