Certain Bexar County employees will have the option to work four days a week:
on Monday said that it’s implemented another option for the shorter week, where employees work 10-hour days.
The change will not affect the office’s hours of 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to a news release signed by Bexar County Clerk Lucy Adame-Clark. Her office covers marriage licenses, birth or death certificates, and other public records. “Recent feedback from our staff has been very positive as they embrace the new hours by having one extra day to focus on their personal lives,” the release states. “One of the many goals of this new initiative is to reduce employee personal expenses, improve employee retention, increase productivity, and to overall address the financial needs of our employees.
