Ramin Setoodeh, a journalist who has largely covered entertainment and is now the New York bureau chief for Variety, has written a book about the ABC DIS, -0.48% talk show “The View.”
It is called “Ladies Who Punch,” and includes interviews with some of the most memorable “View” hosts including Rosie O’Donnell and Star Jones. It has already stirred up some controversy, including over some comments O’Donnell made about her professional relationship with co-star Elisabeth Hasselbeck.This week, it became one of the top-five bestsellers in the New York Times’s list, in the category “combined print and e-book nonfiction.” ‘More than 20 publishing houses passed on my book.
