After being shut down in January for methamphetamine remediation, the Bemis Public Library in Littleton has partially reopened.
Littleton continues to work closely with contractors approved by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to remediate contamination in the library.
Second-round testing revealed contaminant levels above state limits in an additional bathroom and inside a mechanical equipment room connected to the building’s HVAC system. Contamination has not been found on books or soft surfaces like furniture.
