Spring volleyball is also co-ed and is split up by ages: 7-8 years old, 9-10 years old, and 11-12 years old. Registration begins Jan. 10 for Bellaire residents and Jan. 17 for non-Bellaire residents.Collapse Wollner, who practices at Memorial Southwest Hospital, said he has managed juggling his career with being a dad who not only supports his boys’ activities, but coaches them every year.

Their sons, Rayyan Hashmi and Yusuf Zaman, both 8, are best friends who grew up playing sports together in Bellaire. Suri Mehta, a student at St. Agnes Academy, remembers playing basketball and soccer when she was younger. Now, the 15-year-old who is a sophomore in high school and a club soccer player has used her experiences to become a student volunteer coach.
