The family of a Belfast man who died after a tragic collision on Valentine's Day have paid tribute to a "courageous and kindhearted soul".
"Despite everything Daniel was a courageous and kind-hearted soul who went the extra mile. Daniel was a very big part of our lives, often willing to do anything to help his seven siblings. Hearing the news on Wednesday morning about our brother is something we will never forget. As a family ,we are totally devastated by the sudden and tragic way we have lost our brother.
"Daniel had a big heart and hated to see anyone struggling. We all knew that no matter what he would have been there, helping to look after our children, personally I would never have gotten to university or be sitting where I am today and for this, I will be forever grateful to my brother. "We ask anyone with any information to please come forward. We need the answers on what happened, so our family can get some closure.
