The Netflix show will premiere March 6 with four new episodes
, it looks like this season will be just as packed with travel, famous friends, discussions about culture, and good food as the first.
Like the first season, this one promises to “use food as a vehicle to break down cultural barriers, tackle misconceptions and uncover shared experiences,” per a press release. The four episodes — only half the number of episodes as season 1 — will focus on food made for babies and children , the vast world of Indian food , the appeal and mystique of steak , and the varied cuisines that encompass what’s generalized as “Middle Eastern” cooking .
“Deliciousness, as a whole, is like a meme. It’s going to find a way to survive,” the Momofuku and Majordomo Media proprietor says in the opening of the trailer. Accompanying the articulation of the show’s ethos is a visual barrage of said deliciousness — sausages, stews, curries, döner, massive steaks — across a slew of international locations, from Istanbul to Sydney to Tokyo to Mumbai.
