At least one home was spotted by Sky4 teetering on the edge of a cliff because of erosion along South Ponte Vedra Boulevard .

Damage was being assessed Friday on sections of Old A1A near Gene Johns Road that had been destroyed after recently being repaired from damage during Hurricane Ian. Although the storm has moved further away from Florida, Nicole has left behind a destructive path. News4JAX Reporter Aaron Farrar joins us from Summer Haven where there is a lot of damage.

St. Johns County residents or business owners who have storm-related structural damage from Nicole or permitting questions can call the St. Johns County Building Services Structural Hotline at 904-827-6836.
