BBC viewers in tears as blind pianist Lucy wows with Coronation performance CoronationConcert
Royal fans were moved to tears as a young blind pianist wowed crowds at the King's Coronation concert on Sunday evening.
The note-perfect rendition prompted smiles and applause from the Princess of Wales, Princess Charlotte and the King.Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "#CoronationConcert is incredibly emotional - amazing performances by Lucy and the Romeo and Juliet ensemble." The Coronation Concert, beamed onto large screens across the country, saw the Prince of Wales make a speech honouring his father the King before performances by Katy Perry, Take That, Lionel Richie, and Nicole Scherzinger.
Take That then took to the stage with Greatest Day, Shine and, to close the show, Never Forget, featuring an intro from The Choristers of St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
