The 2023 Strictly Come Dancing pairings have been revealed for the first time
BBC Strictly Come Dancing is back with another series. Fifteen celebrities have all been paired with professional dancers to go head to head for the Glitterball Trophy.
The BBC One show launched tonight, Saturday, September 16, where the celebrities, including soap stars, a former Love Island contestant, a radio host, a Paralympic champion and presenters all met their Strictly professional partners for the first time. The show started with a bang, with a huge dance number from the Strictly professionals dancing to 90s anthem Rhythm is a Dancer. Presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman introduced viewers to the judges who have returned to the show for the 21st season.Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood, and Motsi Mabuse will be on the judging panel this year. The 2023 Strictly celebrities were then introduced as they were set to meet their pro-dancer partner.
The celebrities were ecstatic as they met their dance partners. This year Bobby Brazier, Jody Cundy, Ellie Leach, Nikita Kanda, Adam Thomas, Zara McDermott and Angela Scanlon will take to the ballroom alongside Eddie Kadi, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Layton Williams, Angela Rippon, Amanda Abbington, Nigel Harman, Annabel Croft and Les Dennis.
Here is the official couple line-up of Strictly Come Dancing 2023 BBC Strictly Come Dancing will return next week where the live shows will begin on Saturday, September 23, at 6.15pm. The 2023 Strictly couples will hit the ballroom and perform live for the first time.
