Listeners will have noticed a change
BBC Radio Nottingham listeners will have noticed a difference on the airwaves this morning. The usual breakfast show, hosted by Sarah Julian, was replaced by a Lincolnshire fronted programme on Friday morning due to ongoing strikes.
People tuning into Radio Nottingham this morning were instead met by the voice of BBC Radio Lincolnshire host Scott Dalton. In a Twitter post, Ms Julian, who usually hosts the slot, said: "I’m sad that my studio is empty @BBCNottingham today."I miss doing the breakfast show but this is important. There’s strike action @NUJBBCRegions @NUJofficial against cuts to local radio."
Another posted to Twitter: "Switched Radio Lincolnshire on. Joint breakfast programme with Nottingham!! What on earth is going on???"
