BBC viewers were left a little confused after the broadcaster presented MP Abena Oppong-Asare's name on screen while Florence Eshalomi, the MP for Vauxhall, was speaking in parliament.

Ms Eshalomi has since revealed that the BBC apologised to her directly, and told the Evening Standard: ‘If I’m honest I’m not surprised.
