Mullins became the 12th player in franchise history -- and the seventh since the franchise moved to Baltimore -- to hit for the cycle, which consists of hitting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game.
The last time an Orioles player hit for the cycle was June 22, 2022, when Austin Hayes did it against the Washington Nationals, according to the ESPN report. “That’s a highly anticipated moment right there, and it was huge for me to come through for the team,” Mullins told MLB.com. “You obviously know that you’re a single swing away from the cycle, but at the same time, you’re trying to get a job done, drive some runs in, and everything just kind of fell in line.”Thanks for visiting PennLive.
